Hi mates!
Its been a while since I was last on revit city, and sicne your such a reliable community I've returned! I have recently been progressing through a guidebook for Autodesk Revit and it hasn't correctly explained how to create a concentric spiral using a wall. So, hopefully someone can provide an answer for me, and if you need further information about the book, or a picture, please ask.
Much thanks!

Something like this?
Created spline mass then did wall by face.

Hi WWHub, what I intend to create is shown in the attachments. I'm having difficulty with the spiral in making sure that the walls are evenly spaced from each other.

That is a different question. If you are having problems laying it out, how do you expect to have it built?
I suggest you do an approximation using arcs. We always did this for ellipses when we hand drafted them using a compass. You can create the same visual affect with the ellipse. And you can dimension it if you use true arcs.

Hi WWHUd, sorry for my lack of knowledge, I only just graduated from high school. I am an architectural enthusiast and am still learning to use Revit, self-taught. When you talk about approximation using arcs, is that a specific formula I use to create the spiral? Or is there an option within Revit?

I have never had to document a spiral. Here is a response I posted earlier on how to approximate an ellipse:
When we hand drafted and needed an ellipse (before templates '60's), we always used an approximation as described in the first link below.

This link shows how close an appromation is to a real ellipse - note that very long, thin ellipses donot work as well.

Do some searching on-line and you may find something similar for a spiral.
BTW - NOTE: If you use wall by face on a spiral done from a spline, the wall will have no plan layer lines or cut hatching at fine or medium views. But it will if done from arcs!
