hi i installed revit architecture 2012 and the system utilities but it seems i dont have loadable options or types under doors windows collumn and even my wall has just the basic wall thats it. just wonderin what did i do wrong. installin problem ? how can i have them loaded in the drop down area. in the project browser icant find them also. please reply. thanks a lot.

You didn't do anything wrong.  Normal templates only have minimum elements. 

 

When you need something else, you load it from yor library.  System families like walls, roofs, ceilings and floors are all system level which means you don't load them.  You edit the supplied family, creating a new type, which you define.  System families can also be copy/pasted from project to project.
