It occurred to me this evening, while trying to create a retaining wall that followed the contour of topography, that I could split the topo surface into the "plan" of the retaining wall. Move that split topo up to height I want the retaining wall to be. Export the little piece of topo into sketchup, smooth it, use the joint push pull plugin I found, and bring it back into revit.
I have to resolve material issues, but so far this is the quickest way to do this.  that being said is frightfully sad)

Interesting technique. I have built many retaining walls, never like this. Walls that I have built are all pretty much level line concrete blocks with stepping tops, occassional top cut to match grade, which is much more difficult for the contractor. This looks more useful as a mow strip.

Fence, stone fence, retaining wall is not necessarily the term I was looking for. Essentially, I want to deal with some way of getting a wall to follow the contours of topo.
