This should be a simple question.

I can't get my roof deck to do what I think it should do.

First of all I modeled it in at the beam lines where I want the slopes to be.  So I modeld it in a rectangle.  Then I did shape editing and I picked the beam supports (the high and low).  Then I went to the section view and aligned it with the reference plane which is the top of joists.  As you can see in the image attached.  But I would like the deck to go to the edge of the angle (or bend and sit on top of the angle).  But everytime I try editing the profile it messes up the slope.

Can someone please help me with this?  You would think this canopy roof would be simple.

(also I would love for the deck to show up properly in section and in 3d rather than just a box how do I go about that.  I checked other revit ?'s concerning this and one had tutorial, but they did not work.  So could someone please giude me on this also?)

In order to have the metal roof deck show up you actually have to do it as a floor selecting structural deck as the function when creating the type and do the actual roof insulation or whatever else you may have) seperatley.  I don't know why revit doesn't build the structural deck into the roof command also.
