I have an REVIT ARCH model with ceilings and light fixtures. I am working in REVIT MEP and have copy/monitored the light fixtures into my model. When I change the location of the fixtures in the ARCH model, and then open up the MEP model, the program informs me of the need for Coordination Review. When I perform the review, it shows the different locations of the fixture, but only gives me three options for ACTION. postpone, reject, or accept the difference. According to the HELP - Users guide, I should have modify, rename, move, Ignore new elements, etc. But the coordination review window does not list these additional actions. Also, if I would select move, would the program automatically relocate the fixture to the new location in my MEP model?? Is this how it is supposed to work?? What is causing the issue?? How do I correct this situation??
Thanks,

I guess I will have to look at what the help says when I get back in Monday. I have only known the 3 options you listed.
You can always modify, rename - move these items and it is not part of the review process. If you do move these items, it will not move them in the linked model but will set up a "needs coordination review" for the link.

Thanks for the reply.
Enclosed is the list of Actions that I found in the help section.
It states that not all actions will be listed, so I do not know the conditions for each action in order to be made available for use. I can manually move the fixture to the revised location, but it seems like the program has the capability to do this automatically.

What I believe you might be refering to is "to accept" a change. And yes, if you accept a change made in a linked model, to an item you have copy-monitored, then that item will be changed in your model. But that was noy what you asked.
If you reject a change, then that will be noted and the other party will be told when they do their next coordination review. If you postpone ... the item remains on your "action-list". But no real "automatic" action takes place - there is an approval process.

Thanks for the reply.
I understand the "Accept" choice and, now that you have explained it, I understand the "Reject" choice. Also, the "Postpone" option. Listed in the additional options, from the Help section and included in this posting, is the "Move" choice for Actions. This is explained and seems to be the automatic version of moving the object to the new location that is being monitored.
Move: A monitored element has moved. Select Move to apply this change to the corresponding element in the current project.
There are other options as well, just don't know why they do not show up in the Actions drop down menu.
It seems that if I "Accept" that I have to move the object manually, and my understanding is that it will continue to be monitored.
Thanks,
