Hello,
I have created a building and a topography surface. I was trying to create a building pad because there is topography coming through the floor. I understand the concept of a building pad for the most part, and have used them before. Though, after drawing a building pad this time, it alters the topography service, as in actually moves some topography lines to a point against the side of my building that otherwise (w/0 pad) were not there (see picture). I was wondering why this is happening, and how i can fix it. All help is appreciated. Thank you.

Your picture doesn't really tell us anything because we don't know which lines are wrong.
Are you sure you used a PAD and not a graded region?
What Revit release are you using?

The pointed topographic are not supposed to be. Before they ran continuously (its a creek just south of the building.) I'm using the most recent Revit 2012. I went to 'massing & site' and clicked on building pad, then traced the building. I do not know what you mean by graded system. THank you
