Can anyone comment on the relative merits of each, and which you would recommend using in which situation. I've tried using foundation walls to slab edges, rebated for varying wall cavity widths / depths and found issues with joining geometry to the slab, and then controlling linework for the foundation setout plan. The biggest problem is not being able to distinguish conventional walls from foundation walls in views when controlling Visibility Graphics, and controlling the rebate dimensions automatically. What I would LIKE to be able to do is link the slab to the wall paramtetrically (this part OK), and form rebates for the cavity and cladding (using base wall extensions) automatically in the slab edge. The rebates would then automatically adjust to any future wall modifications in type or location. Any help would be greatly appreciated. C

I only use "normal" walls, I don't really find any differance, unless you need to schedule walls... regarding your rebate, that can be done as a host sweep (void) and you will need to adjust the size, not aware of a way to control it like you want... but I'm sure someone will find a way Smile
