Hello all,
When I export DWGS from a sheet that is setup in Revit, the buildings export relative to Project 0. However in order to ensure our issued DWGS sit correctly as per the site coordinates we need it to match the real cooordinate system.
I know that when you export a DWG from Revit from not within a Revit setup sheet then it exports to the correct coordinates. But I really dont want to have do 2 DWG exports for every one of our 125 sheets for every issue that we make.
Is there a script routine anyone has heard of that can fix this? A tick box I'm missing?
Thanks in advance
Beau

Download the Spring 2009 issue of AUGUI / EDGE and read this article: Getting Oriented With Revit’s Coordinate System
It should help you with this. A link to this is on our Home Page.

Did you find any solution? I read the article, but it didn't really help. I have the same problem, with a lot of sheets to export and no possibility to keep integrity of coordinate system in Autocad files.
Thanks in advance for help...
