I have a second floor plan at elevation 14'. I have a canopy at t/s el at 112'. I set up my levels - hence revit creates plans from the levels. I deleted the Canopy plan because I was not going to use it. But now when I want to put my beams on the grids to the columns at the canopy revit will not let me. I had to go to my 3d and place the beams, and then back to the second floor to tag the beams.
Why can't I place these beams while in the second floor plan? What is the best way to handle this? I want my canopy to show up on the second floor plan.
