I started a project, I used the residential template. Started building walls (rough design phase). I click on East elevation.

The basement datum level line (the dashed line with the quartered circle at the end) does not show. I click on North elevation.

The basement (along with B.O., T.O.) datum level line shows.

My goal: Get the basement datum line (and all other hidden lines) to show on all elevations, sections.

How do I achieve this goal?

Many thanks, deeply appreciated.

JLB

In order for the level to show in a section or elevation ( column lines too), the datum must cross the clipping plane of the view.  Either they are rigt / left ... in which case just uncrop the view and drag them over, or if they may be beyond the view, find a perpindicular view and drag them over.

Sometimes the answer to an extremely frustrating problem is incredibly simple.

Thanks, and deeply appreciated.

Just wanted to add one more thing to what you said. I could not work with the existing east elevation (even with trying to change the clipping plane, etc. So i just created a new elevation (View > Create > Elevation) to face the same way as the old East elevation,  and just deleted the old east elevation. So that is an alternative.... Many thanks anyways!!!
