I linked our architects drawing into our structural when we started our project a few months ago (This is our first Revit project). Everything was working fine until the last two Architetcs models. When linked these to our model (origin to origin) they come in 1 7/32" off. Their drawing has moved south. I can't fing anything to fix this problem. I'm new to Revit so any help would appreciated.

You should never have to rel-link a model - just reload it. Origin to origin is not good unless one model was created from the other. (Origins can be moved.)
If you have grids in both models, simply re-align the models..... then only reload the next time.

Thanks for your quick reply. The problem is when they send us a new model it has a new file name. Maybe I should change the new file name to the old one. I hope it's not to late, it's 8 file names later.

File name is not a problem because Revit allows for that. It just uses a pointer. Mange your links and pick reload from, then pick the new file name.

this is when you use the "Reload From" option...

O.K., I opened up an old back up file that still has the original arch. linked in it but it is unloaded. so I "reloaded from" the latest arch. file and I still get that 1 7/32" off in the north/south direction. I am new at this, so maybe I did something along the way. it was working fine until a month ago.
What is the rule of thumb about linking revit drawings, is it, Origin to Origin or Center to Center?
Oh, By the way. Thank you guys for the quick response.

The first thing to understand is that when you initial load / link anything, the center - center or origin to origin locating is used. But that is not a fixed position. Once loaded, anything can be moved unless pinned or otherwise constrained.
So what does this mean? Someone moved the link or you moved your model. The solution is to move one or the other. Previous post>> " If you have grids in both models, simply re-align the models..... then only reload the next time."
