Hi to everybody. I'm Francesca a new member and I write from Italy. I just started to use Revit 2010 and I need some advices! :-) How can I edit the dimensions such as height of trees that i downloaded? And moreover, I succeded in changhing the materials in the family edit tools ( in object style) but when i transfer the tree family in the project I can't see the materials, neither the colours.... can someone help me??? thanks!

Are those "trees" imported objects like CAD files? If so I believe you don't have any dimensions, what you must do is a "Scale" of that obj. with the Height you want.

About "Materials" remember... PROJECT RULES..... before you load that family into project go to materials and see the "names" you have in there, then, in project, do the same (go to materials) and check if those "names" are corrects like you want, if not, change like you want.

Also, if you search in our "Forum" page for "Sketchup" you will see lots of threads about this same issue.

Hope this help

You can find more trees in 3D warehouse, great source of stuff, changing materials is limited.
