working on a house with slope roof, I was just using generic roof now. But now I know the rafters are exposed at eave, so rafters will be seen for elevation view, kind like

in this case, should I model rafters so I could see them in 3D view and elevation view? If yes, is beam system the right tool for me to use?
Thank you.
