I'm trying to render a scene and the ground plane keeps turning its self back on. I've tried turning it off through the settings/environment but it doesn't seem to stay off. Any ideas.

Change the ground plane to the void material. It is located in the ar2_accrend libary.

Thanks for the idea but I fixed it by turning off the "use sun and shadow settings from view" in render settings.
