hi
can somebody help me fix these wall joins?
what i did was an octagonal conceptual mass and add the wall to the faces
is there any other way to do this? maybe i am doing it wrong.
i am using RAC 2011

this is another i try, an in place model i did this walls. with a void element to be able and cut it but the hatch doesnt match, how can i fix this? either the first wall joins or this second the hatch?

Have you tried using the 'wall joins' tool. Try giving them a Mitred connection instead.
If that doesn't work, maybe forget using the "wall by face" and just redraw the walls traditionally using the mass as a template to be traced. You could then cut all the walls on the angle using an in-place void extrusion.

You can also create a reference plane, select the walls, and use the "attach top/bottom" tool to the reference plane for a nice clean termination at an angle.

thanks! wall joins worked perfect on the floor plan view, there is a line below but that is a void i have there
on the 3d view it still has some issues with the edges

even if attaching the wall to an inclined reference plane it is not doing it to all the end of the wall it just does it for part of the top end

this is an elevation and i dont know why they all have a different end at the top, dont know based on what have that end angle or inclination

sorry i was not doing it right what absoluteBIM suggested of cutting with a void
i just try again and worked perfectly
i appreciate all, i tried all solutions and learned something new with each one
