has anyone else ever seen this (see image)? everytime i start up Revit 2011 (also happened in 2010) i get a very small window that pops up with "F" and the windows 'X' close button. i can close it but don't know what it does and can't find any other information on what it is.

or does anyone know how i can find out what the window is doing?

i might add that the window only pops up on my second monitor which makes sense as i never see it when just on my laptop or a single monitor system, so it is intentially being displayed 'off' screen.

Was there ever a fix for this?!  I'm deploying Revit 2014 and cannot find a solution. HELP!

I would like to add that I'm running a 3d mouse/puck.

We had a workstation at the office experiencing this same issue. I read on another forum that it might have to do with the ATI driver setting called Hydravision. They said to disable it in Catalyst Control Center.

We did that and so far the problem seems to have gone away.
