if I export my sheets as images at 100%, does it print to scale if I send it to the printers?  Has anyone done this before?

No... print your sheets to PDF for a better effect.

My image saved at 2600 pixels at screen resolution, AKA 92 DPI.

if your sheet is 11x17- and you export that sheet/image at 100%- it will fit perfect on the 11x17 paper you print it to.. as for scale on paper- it will print the scale you have on the sheet..

"for a better effect"

that pixelation you are showing us won't happen if you export the image at 10,000 pixels and then resize the image for printing or viewing..

I know, but there's an option in export images of "zooming" to 100% instead of fitting to an arbitrary pixel number, and I was pointing out that zooming to 100% will give an awful result.

set it at 100% and turn the "raster image quality" all the way up.. no awful results then.. what am i missing?

ego- actually you are more right than wrong.. even if you do turn up the raster quality it's really no longer exporting 100%..
