Okay I have read all the posts but no one seems to have a definitive answer or solution to the issue of random crashing other than 64 bit and increase the ram. Before you run me through the gauntlet.. the MEP file size was 45 megs, no imported autoCAD files, I did not have any other applications running and I have audited and purged, shut down twice to clear VM
I just right clicked on a dimension in the project and the program closed right to the desktop with no warning.
This morning it was when I moved a wall
Yesterday 6 times at random points in random projects. I am lucky to get a restore file. usually it just closes.

is it any project that crashes or just this particular project?

I noticed within the manage inquiry warnings that both projects are running in excess of 30-50 errors. items such as Wall Joins unconnected, Multiple instances, Floor slopes, identical instances etc.
I cannot locate the journal folder even when I serach the c: drive. That I don't understand. I had them with 2009.

I have attached a journal file. Let me know what you find or where to look for the error. I see the warning from manage inquiry but didn't look hard enough to spot the crash. if it happens agian I will note the time and open the journal.

sorry, best advise is a PC upgrade. you could try boosting your virtual memory to 4096 mb and turn off the hardware acceleration on your Quadro 570. Having 32 bit OS on that machine is kind of squeezing its potential. great processor but the VM and RAM limits are definitely an issue.
