I dislike Revit's interior elevation symbol because it puts too much information on a floor plan that's already pack with data.  I created my own and imported into my project but I can find it to put into my floor plan.. Any suggestions?

For annotations, it's a little weirder than a regular family.

Select the elevation.  Hit the elevation tag.  DUPLICATE the elevation tag.  Now change the elvation mark.   There's just one extra tier.

I dont understand.  you mean select the body of the interior elevation tag, then under properties and edit type, duplicate?  not sure how to change the elevation mark without directly going into the family, changing the name then inserting back in.

ok.. confused

So, you made a new elevation symbol to replace the default elevation symbol, which you find too big and is cluttering up the view?

If so, you'll need to make a new "type" of elevation tag like I suggested.  Easiest way to do this is to first start with an elevation on your sheet which you dislike, and change its properties to be what you do like.
