I'm sure this may have been covered before but i couldn't find an answer anywhere:

basically I've probably done a big nono by creating my building assuming a flat land (which it nearly is) as the survey company were taking a while to come back with the levels. What I now have are a few curtain walls that don't quite reach the external ground level. when I try to drag the curtain wall down to below ground (for visual reasons) it pulls all of the horizontal gridlines with it, even if I've locked them to ref planes. Why does this happen??? I would edit the provile of the wall but that seems to cause more issues than it's worth. My other work around is to place another wall beneath it and edit profile of that, but I don't want to as I just want to have the 1 wall.

Does anyone know of something I'm missing??
