So I am working in Revit 2011, my office also has 2012, and I have created a fairly complex mass and then used the surface pattern (rectangular) to break down the surface, and then used my own custon conceptual panel to build my curtain wall. I have an opening that keeps moving for a pedestrian bridge connection, so I used the Tab key to highlight 3 panels and deleted them. Now the bridge is moving again, and Id like to fill in the 3 panels I deleted, but unlike a Curtain Wall in the wall types category where you can highlight the 'empty' panel and replace, I cannot find a way to replace my panels since this is a divided surface CW in a mass family.
Is there a way to get those panels back in to that hole without deleting the divided surface and generating the entire thing over again? The panels are complex and generating them takes time, and it would be nice if I could jsut regenerate the wall, or replace just the 3 missing panels without having to do it all over again.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Colin,
I assume this isn't an issue for you any more.
For others that run into this problem:
- select the usrface hosting the deleted panels
-from properties window drop down select any other surface patter
- after the new surface pattern has been generated, select the custom panel and that should re-generate the missing segments.
