Once I set my light fixtures in place, I can no longer align one fixture without moving the whole group. I must have locked them together in a previous sequence. They are not grouped, but they all move together. How can I disengage them so they act separately?

I noticed that whenever I turned off the ceiling and isolated just the light fixtures and the working lines, it seemed to work fine.

It's probable that you had selected the ceiling by accident and were attempting to move that, which all the lights were hosted on.
