Hi all,
Is there a way to show the roof outline on the ground floor plan without drawing each line in?

You can click on view properties on your ground floor and select underlay and choose whatever plan your roof is in, this will show you the roof line.

the underlay method is not entirely foolproof we find, especially with rooves. another trick is to cheat a bit and adjust the view range briefly, draw your linework, and readjust view range. watch for any plan regions you may have though.
hope that helps - i think there was a long thread on this a couple of months ago too.

Thanks guys,
I thought this was the case. I was hoping there was a wiz bang setting I could use which meant I could avoid drawing individual lines.
