I have build a custom curtain wall panel and assigned one of the geometries within the panel to be a light source. I've loaded it into my project and tried all the different rendering options, but it seems like the light source material isn't making it through into the project because it doesn't render as a light. Any suggestions?

start a new project and purge it, put an example of your curtain wall with materials in that project and post it on here so everyone can see your approach. Myself or someone on here will surely respond with a fix right away.

you have the light source material assigned but it appears the light source material has no illumination material actuallly applied to it

this panel family now has a material for "light on" applied. you will see a difference in the material when you select realistic viewing mode. before it was just a generic gray material.
