So my company does one-line system diagrams in AutoCAD because it's much faster than doing it in Revit is in our experience. We then link the AutoCAD file into Revit for titleblock and printing.
The line weights don't carry over though, so this results in the lines being so thin they don't print correctly. For the symbols and lines, we just set the line weights of those layers to "4" in Revit and then they print fine.
This doesn't work on the text from AutoCAD though. Which still prints out either extremely lightly or not at all.
Our work around is either printing from AutoCAD (pain to deal with multiple titleblocks though), or turning off the text in Revit and re-writing everything in Revit (also a pain).
Any suggestions on how to get text from a linked AutoCAD file to print darker in Revit?
Thanks,
