We are getting ready to submit a LEED Daylighting Analysis report and need to compare it to another image to see if readings that others are getting are consistant or not.

If you havn't read my other thread that i posted yesterday, we have been doing lighting simulation using 3DS and seem to be getting numbers that are incosistant.  The numbers closest to the windows are the hightest which is good but towards the back of the room where it is lower there seems to be spikes in the numbers on an average of 50 fc.  Does anyone else have this?  Is this normal?

If someone can attach an image preferably done in plan view that would be great.

Is there anyway i can get a .pdf or a closeup image of G1.20?

That looks very nice.  So it looks like you included it as a sheet in the CD set?

Also,

How did you export the anaylisis pictures from 3ds and get them into Revit in a way that looks readable.  Right now, i am using the windows snipping tool for screen captures in order to get the daylighting images for the LEED submittal.  You've seem to have streamlined the process quite a bit.

Thats great! Thanks a lot.

Was this one that you submitted and LEED accepted?  There just doesn't seem like a standardized way to submit these.  Thanks so much.

Btw, i was looking at your readings and yours looks like it goes up and down as well in places.  Looks like its not a problem if Leed accpeted it.  Just wanted to make sure it wasn't just me.

by the large windows i have sun shades with ivy growing on them and solatubes throughout the building. everywhere you see a circle on the floor that is a placement of a solatube. and yes we submitted this along with data from the manufacturer that reflects a consistancy in the numbers,

Ok.

How did you get your numbers on the light lister to be black.  For some reason, my are all white readings over the psuedo color.

Did you do a single analysis for each room and then import/combine them in Photoshop?

I can't figure out a way to get a color analysis with numbers for an entire floor, just single rooms based off of individual camera views.

Thanks,
