How do you get the end posts (newel) to go to the base of the stairs? you see the image, it is floating up in the air.
it doesnt seem like the parameter balaster placement for this is connected to the end posts. I know the end posts are library objects...but a little direction would help me a lot.
thanks

When all else fails - look in the HELP:
Post Pattern Properties -
- Base Specifies where the bottom of the post is placed: at the top of the rail, bottom of the rail, or top of the host. A host can be a level, floor, stair, or ramp.
- Base offset The negative or positive vertical distance between the bottom of the post and the base.
