I'm trying to delete a section type by purging the file, but it wont show in Purge. I have tried to confirm that the type isn't used in the project by selecting all instances in entire project and changing them to the other type but it isn't enough. Am I missing something?

Hey
You can purge the section type, just under "other styles" in purge unused.

You can not delete the system created section type because Revit wants at least one available. That one has probably been renamed or is not a name you like. Rename / fix it so you can keep it.
