In a door schedule I have a column for the room in which the door is placed.
When I insert the door the field is populated with the correct room that the door swings into to.
However if I flip the door the schedule does not update to reflect the door opening into the new room.
Any ideas?
Cheers,
Dave

The door tag number is the key here. If you have the door assigned to say room 100 and it shows that way on your schedule and you change the swing of the door and you want it to be apart of room 101. You would have to change the door tag number from 100 to 101, Revit doesn't know what you are thinking you have to help it out a little bit. I'm not trying to be a funny guy or insult you intelligence. Sometimes we get wrapped up in what Revit can do and we forget about the simple things.

In your door schedule from/to room information can be easily switched. You can just hit the drop down and pick out of the two rooms the door is separated by.
The reason for this is the many different conventions on what is considered the correct room of association and thus gives the user the choice.

Is there a way to add this from/to Room data to the door tag?

I'm having the problem of no room number association even being provided as an option... which I suspect is what dgehring is having issue with as well. The door giving me the problem is a storefront system door between a corridor & the exterior. What is strange is that the room boundary comes right up to the door, no problem. Thoughts/advice?

I'm not sure what you are asking. You can't edit from/to information because that is read from the project.
Pay attention to what side you place the door from, then flip the swing if needed. This is how the room from/to is controlled. Experiment .... you will quickly learn the process.
