Hi.
One of our computers (3 to 4 month old) running Revit 2012 started to play up where if you draw anything and then you deslect your function, then go a select anything on the screen, the screen jumps (hiccup) up a little and when it comes back, your selection has moved up the screen maybe in real time dimension of 1/4 to 1/2 inch - on some scales that is a huge jump.
The user has found that if the Ctrl key is held down prior to selection, then you go ahead and draw etc, there is no little jump. Whats up with that.
We have ran 2009 Revit and 2012 AutoCAD - and done the same type of drawing function and there is no problem with these - replaced the Mouse - No problem with this - replaced the Keyboard - No problem with this. Reinstalled Revit 2012 - and it still does it.
We will in the next day or say totally wipe the existing hard drive and reinstall everything.
Any ideas what may be at fault?

I have the solution!

This will reset your user interface and stop the jumping, you are most probably using a dual monitor solution.
Good luck
take care
