I still do not know and do not have the time to make my own doors/windows. I will soon, so I am asking everyone if they would have a garage door that is chamfered at its top corners, say 1' or so for a 9'x9' door? Thanks.

You have to create a new door family. You can use a garage door that already exist in revit, click edit family and make any changes you want, then save as any name you want. You will have to use some reference planes, so you can create the chamfer on the corners.
I hope this helps.
