is there any way to funnel more of my ram power into revit 2012, i have 8 gig of RAM and i would like revit to run faster so i am wonder is this possible?

Revit would take just what it needs. Eventually you could give the process Revit.exe some priority over other processes, which would be equal to making most out of your processor but not RAM. If you don't want to do this every single time by switching the process' priority from normal to high or real-time from the task manager in Windows, then just download the software called 'Prio'. It remembers your priority choice and automatically sets the last assigned priority to the desired process.
