I am working on a project with several files linked into one. The working file consists in interior walls and equipment. Linked into that file are the structual model, the core & shell model, and the lighting & ceiling model. All models were originally created in Revit. The building is 4 stories, with the exception of a 2 story lobby area. My issue is this:
When I link the structural model, excess steel framing appears floating 2 stories above the lobby area of building (see attached). I have checked from several different views to make sure that the steel is not simply shifted up. I have also opened the structural model by itself and found the the excess steel framing is not in the individual file. It only shows up after the model has been linked. It's as if the first two levels of framing in the lobby area are duplicated to the levels above during the linking process.
Has anyone encountered this problem of unwanted duplicates when linking? Any thoughts or insight would be much appreciated.

You say you have multiple linked files. Do the linked files all have their structural link set to overlay?
I suggest you turn off one linked file at a time in VG and find the offending file.
