We are having issues with glass and camera view - We can see thru the glass in the view, but when it is printed we cannot see thru the glass. We turned off the glass to get it to print correctly? Why does this happen? and is turning off the glass the only way to resolve this issue?

Geez,
How many questions did you ask? lol (can't say i have time to answer them all...)
in a perpsective camera view or 3D view glass should print transparent providing it has a decent transparency value in the material settings.
Glass will show opaque in elevations/sections.

Set "Hidden Line Views" to "Raster Processing" in your print setup.
