Why would a masking region not mask. i have tried bringing it forward and bring to front. just started at a new firm and have inherited some head aches.

i am an idiot, the view was set to wire frame. dah, that should have been revit 101.

I think you are too hash on yourself :-)
I have spent quite some time solving issues caused by simple mistakes. There is a degree of detective work involved to find why there is an issue, particularly if office standards has not been followed
