Dabbling with 2012. I often get en error message and the view closes.
(an error has occured while drawing the content of this window, The window shall be closed)
It happens when I perform simple tasks, like dimensions or moving an object
The file is only small and at the moment simple
Working with a laptop with 4MB ram, probably on the edge of acceptable spec
Any comments to this?

You mean 4GB of ram for sure. You need the 3GB switch set... search for that in the threads here and on autodesk site.

thanks. Yes, I did mean 4Gb :-)
I am running Windows 7 64bit, so I thought it did not have the 3GB limit
I am now dabbling on my PC which has a 'high' spec and I can not replicae the problem
Good excuse to get a new laptop :-)
