I want to build a deck element as shown in pictures below. I would not use "model in place" feature. Are there other ways you can model it in Revit?

This is the standard structural slab floor you are looking for I believe it is provided in the original Revit 2012.

mbsteve is right, this is an out-of-the-box feature of revit, under the structural tab, create a structural floor (see image 1) if there is not a default floor set up, then create a new one with the properties shown in image 2. note that you'll have to load the deck profile in before creating the floor... Thank you for your answer. It is not a standard deck, since we have two different kinds of concrete, which are merging. I had tried to solve the problem with"structure floor", but without success. Can you do it with "Structure floor 'or another feature? Look at the picture below

maybe with an curtain wall, on a roof acting like the deck you are describing. But is going to overload the revit model (be careful with that)

PUTOPUTO - I have never seen a floor loke that.
Why is it made like that?
I see you are from Denmark but this is really strange. Is the lower element precast and it is inverted when placed then topped?
Fixed typo error.....

I think you're the same person who sent me an email yesterday about this same problem and you said "It should be like a Family, or object, where everyone must be able to retrieve my object and use it in their project, so I can not do it with "model in place", You can create that with an "In-Place" if you want but before you finish the in-place, select the two obj. and create a "GROUP", then "Save As > Library > Group", now your group is a family and you can share that "Family".
