I organize my drawing in groups.
Now I need to add a comment, or ever change a family parameters, but this family is inside a group.
When I try to do you, revit tells me "Error - cannot be ignored. Changes to groups are allowed only in group edit mode. Use the edit group command to change to all instances of a group type. You may use the ungroup option to proceed with this change by ungrouping the changed group instances."
I really dont want to ungroup, and since I have instances of this group, I would need to edit one by one or even ungroup everything.
thanks

Ah.... groups. You really have to understand them and be careful where and how you use them. And learning that is almost all experience.
You wrote "...I organize my drawing in groups...." Not sure what you mean by this but it sounds bad. And as you have found out, when you have families that need different parameter settings, groups become a problem.
I don't have any really good advice - no easy solutions because this is really very specific to what you may be doing. You may be able to break these groups up into smaller groups - then ungroup the larger group. << Never tried this
