Hi,
I have a project which has loads of beams which requrie boxing in at high level.
Previously, I have just drawn a wall at either side of the beam (i.e. offset from the level to the beams height) and then drawn a ceiling below - though this process seems extremely time consuming and fiddly.
Is there a better way?

I made an 'architectural beam' family to accomplish this. Just us a column family and modify. Worked great for me.

Sounds like that could be a plan - but how would you cater for the column casing being made of two layers of plasterboard?  as mine are)
I guess you could create an arch column which consists of two extruded boxes one inside the other??
