Hi,

I have a plan which is split into 8 dependent views.

There are various callouts on the plan for the stair cores, some of those cross the boundaries of the dependent views.

The problem is that the dependent views crop area crops the plan, but the callout box area seems to ignore the crop.

I have a plan with a staircore just on the edge, and so on the title sheet have the large box of the call out hanging off the sheet.

Is there anyway I can fix this?

How do you want to fix it?  If the callout spans the view crop, then it does....The call out window will not break or hide.  Perhaps a better representation would be for these callouts in an overall plan and then hideen here.

  • An alternate is to hide this call out and add one that is within your crop and use reference other view.
  • Another is to use a 3-sided open "bubble" made from linework and use a callout bubble tagged to it that references other view.

"How do you want to fix it?"  well essentially, I was hopign that there was a way of getting the call out boxes to respond to the dependent view splits - I can believe its supposed to work that way.

The best way to fix this I've found is to crop the viewport on the sheet - I'm just a little supprised that I have to do this...
