Hello everyone. I've been lurking around RevitCity for a few weeks now, mainly searching through the download sections. I'm currently an intern at a small architecture firm, but will be going back to school soon to finish my last year of graduate school to obtain my Master of Architecture degree. Before I started this job (summer intern) I had no experience with Revit. The firm I work for, however, is almost using it exclusively (the same as many firms today), so I had to crash course myself into it. In just a few months, I had become so familiar with Revit that I was able to create the model in the pic below. This was all with very little help from people around the office. I simply bought the book "Introducing Autodesk Revit Architecture 2011" and got to work. From what I can tell, it's a great program. There are still a few things I would like to see improved, but it works great for most applications.

so you had no experience with revit until this summer- (we are in summer)- and already you create a building like that and render like that and see where revit needs improving.. and from "what you can tell" it's a great program.. and it works for "most applications"- right- got it..

@coreed - I actually don't have to do a thesis for my masters. The university has implemented a new degree program that started when I began grad school. A lot of people at work who went through the same university are mad about it, but I'm not complaining.
