Should I install the current build periodically? Might seem like a rhetorical question, but, how often? Thanks.

I tend to only install the latest build if i'm having issues, or i know there are issues with a particular build that may effect me.

At the firm I work for I tend to update with every new update that is released. The reason that I do this is because Revit generally doesn't put an update out there unless it's to correct a problem. I've learned this through the beta testing program and found that when you don't update you tend to run into problems. Revit does not always tell you what the update is correcting and for that matter they don't even tell you when an update is available. You will also find as I have that if and when you contact Revit support they will generally ask you what build you have. If you don't have the current build they will recommend to you that you get it. The update generally takes about 5 minutes to load, if you don't load all of the content again (Revit recommended).

Of course this all depends on the number of computers you need to update...
Larger offices don't generally have the time to do fortnightly installs of revit - which is how frequent some of the new builds come out.
I generally do try to keep the latest build on hand in case people have problems so i can just install it, but don't generally install them all straight away. As from previous builds some have actually caused more problems than what they fixed, i believe they do more testing now before they release builds.
But like video card drivers the latest doesn't necessarily mean the most stable for you - although it should do in most cases.
