Hi everyone,

I have a question when I am fixing some cabinet families.  So the cabinet is wall hosted and I need to add a 38 scribe behind it.  But since the cabinet is already hosted to the wall it doesn't seem to let me move the cabinet 38 from the wall and add the scribe. Or it doesn't let me host a scribe to the wall then adding the cabinet to that scribe.  Maybeit is because the cabinet is still hosted to the wall and isn't part of family.  This is an old family that I am fixing up.  Is there a way to do this?

Thanks in Advance for the much needed help.

I have not done this but I think you can add a parallel work plane away from the wall, adding a parameter which will allow it to flex. then shift and or rebuild your cabinet. The other thing you could do is create a new cabinet to be hosted by face. Then in the model you could add a workplane parallel to the wall as the surface to attach to.
