How can I resize a floor plan view on a sheet? I dont want to show the whole floor plan.

Look up crop region and scale in your help. Crop region is in your properties bar when your view is active, yet you have nothing selected. When you have nothing selected, the properties of the view itself are shown. scroll down.
Also, there are probably old threads that cover this subject, it's worthwhile browsing through old threads for a bit to find in-depth answers from over the years. Look at the bottom of this page for suggested links.
