How can I use an existing project parameter in a family, annotation etc.? Two exemples: 1. In room description I have a parameter Height not connected (or stg. like this, I don't have the english version of Revit) but I can't find this one in Labels. Despite the other parameters like Area, Volume, Perimeter..., are there. A shared parameter won't work because I don't want to type manually every room's height and control it if it's ok. I want just change the room's height and the Label changes automatically.2. I need to refer to the phase of the project on my sheet. In Phases I can choose the actual Phase of the drawing. Why can't I use this parameter on my Sheet family and I have to type this manually using a shared parameter?I'm experiencing problems like this quite often and I didn't find any matching post on the forum. Is there anyone that could help me? Thanks.

Tags can only read shared parameters, not family parameters, so you need to use shared parameters for the data you want to see in your tags. Shared parameters CAN be instance parameters, so each room can have a different height. I'm not sure I quite understand your second example but perhaps this idea will help with that issue as well.

This shared parameter won't be automatic but you'll have to enter every information you want to see... However the room height is already a parameter in rooms. But not available for tags...

Ceiling height is available as a tag.

No.... It tags the ceiling.
I know, in the past we made it easy on the contractor by giving him a ceiling height in the room finish schedule or in your case, you want to do it in yopur floor plan. But the ceiling plan can be tagged with ceiling height, it also shows any changes in ceilings in rooms and is fully parametric.
Because ceiling's can slope or step, this property does not belong to rooms.
