Hi all,

Looking for some help with a faulty Revit Architecture 2012 install.

Everytime I try to start up Revit 2012 it never gets past the splash screen. I've done a search online and in forums for some help and found the following link:

I've searched my workstation and non of those points are relevant because my workstation doesn't run a WSCommCntr3.exe process and for some reason the Revit directory in AppData seems to be missing the ENU directory and UIState.dat file.

I've tried to uninstall RAC 2012 via the control panel, but once i choose to uninstall the program nothing happens.

I'm running a Dell Precision M6500 laptop with the following specs:

Intel Core i7 1.73GHz

8GB RAM

Windows 7 Pro OS

any help would be appreciated.
