Having no success entering text symbols such as Degree/Diameter etc. I have been told for a degree symbol I hold the ALT key & enter the sequence 0186. Is this correct & if so any clues on why it wont work for me? I have had no luck searching for info on this subject, would like to now where the text symbol keynote list is stored.

The codes are store in the windows character map.
you have to type the numbers on the number pad in order for it to work.
