Hi All,
see this:

I tried to reproduce:
created a cool double curved surface in Pro-ENgineer,
exported it as an acis .sat file,
created a generic family in Revit,
imported the sat in this family,
inserted this family into a project,
Testing:
1.create a wall from face : PASS !
Verrry cool, finally good drawings of these shapes !
2.create roof from face: FAIL
Crashes hard
3. create curtain wall from face: FAIL
Crashes hard, showstopper !
Looking at the above mentioned site again,
It Is Possible !
How !??!
Help Appreciated ( you don't know how much)

Ok answering my own question again:
Create a Mass family ("mass metric" template, f.i.)
Insert the ACIS sat file super double curved
Insert family
create curtain wall by face....
....
....
VOILA!
If I have to explain to you How Cool This Is,
well, let's not get in to that.
