I am looking in an elevation view using RST 2011.  I have the view's visual stlye set to hidden line.  Shouldn't this dash the profiled behind my members with a "hidden-line"?  In stead, I cannot see any elements behing my member.  They are there, I can see them in wire-view.  Any Ideas?

Greg

Hidden line hides lines that are hidden, it does not convert them to hidden line.  To show hidden objects, read this topic in your HELP:  Showing Hidden Element Lines

Another thing to check is if the view discipline is set to Structural. IIRC, if it's a structural view Revit should automatically show hidden lines.

First of all, thanks for the link, I found my answer right away and am ashamed for not searching there first as is always stated on this site. . . "read you help file".

I figured out a bitr more though and thought I would share.  If the discipline is set to "structural" in lieu of the coordination I was using to see walls and windows. . . all elements appear to automatically are seem as hidden lines when behind another object.
