Is there a way to link a specific view template to an elevation or section tag. So when you place that tag (Elevation/Section) the default view template is set to a specific view template you have created?

Apply the view template you want to be the default to a view. In the dialogue box where you pick which view template to use there is a "use this template for new views" (I forget the exact wording). That should work.

Thanks for the suggestion and that works great, except it only uses the template you have applied last. IE It can't disinguish between an interior elevation and a wall section. If you used the wall section template last then that is what is uses if you next choose a interior elevation.
Any thoughts on how to change this?
